Hank Photoshoot

As Ryan said I am entering our beautiful baby boy into a photo contest in May. I checked out some of the past winners and quite frankly I don't know if I stand a chance, BUT I sure as heck am going to try! You can enter 5 photos with your entry fee, and if you want to enter additional photos it's $1/photo. I plan on only entering the 5 because I'm cheap, but I really hope I win. The grand prize is a super nice digital camera! I am going to put the pictures below and you can give some input on which you like and don't like. If we ever get another sunny day I will take some more, but for now this is all I have.

Inconsistent Rain = Sucky

I honestly don't mind rain, at all. November - March: Go ahead and rain everyday. However, what I do not appreciate is a week of 70-80 degrees with clear skies, then two days of rain. followed by another week of sunshine. Stupid April....

For the first time in a while, we actually have stuff to talk about! Woo hoo!

Hank:
Hank continues to get better at interacting with other dogs, but we have come to the conclusion that he needs someone to play with. So because Jennifer is Jennifer, she is constantly on Petfinder.com trying to find a puppy we can get so Hank won't be so lonely. That obviously isn't going to happen until we get a house with a yard, but she will not be denied.

Hank also converted to a Halty on his walks. The Halty goes over the top of his muzzle and when he tries to lunge or pull, the Halty pulls his head to the side and quickly keeps him from pulling/lunging anymore. It took a few days to get used to, but now he is an absolute dream to walk. It's as if you are walking nothing, which both Jenny and my hands appreciate.

Jenny and Me:
I don't know that I can say everything that is going on in Jenny's life, but all I know is that she joined a softball team with some people from her school. Their first game is this Friday (5/1) and I'm excited to go watch her. Jenny has also took it upon herself to enter Hank's photos into a contest they are having at the Humane Society. She's been working really hard at taking Hank on photo shoots, doctoring the pictures in Photoshop, and trying to pick photos that could be winners. A lot of them look really good, mostly because our dog is so damn handsome. Other than that, I'm not sure if there is any other exciting news (she can probably edit this later if there is).

I've had a nagging leg injury from snowboarding that is finally getting better, which is pretty exciting because the injury kept me fairly inactive. I'm starting to help out with a high school soccer program near my school in Milwaukie and hopefully I will be a part of the program when they begin their season. Jenny and I are starting a Co-Ed indoor soccer team with some people we know and should be starting up any time now. It looks like both of our jobs are in a good place right now, but I suppose a lot could change. We both are sort of on cruise control since there is really only one more month of actual teaching left in the school year(June doesn't count - everyone is checked out by then).

As far as I'm concerned, that's it. Seacrest out!

We are still boring.

Hey to the few people who still keep tabs on this. March was close to as boring as February, with not a whole lot going on. Both Jenny and I are waiting for the weather to turn and for the school year to come to a close, which is only 2 months away. Today, Jenny and I took Hank to Government Camp so he had another opportunity to play in the snow and have a ball.




Hank is still a beast; he sheds like one and often acts like one. If we had milestones and cool stuff to post like Alicia, we totally would. Seeing as how we don't, this is all you get. Sorry.


This just in: Thomas Loveless has what I think is a healthy obsession with our dog Hank.
